In the Rocket Monsters game, players can purchase land in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. Land can be purchased using Particles ($P), and is available both inside and outside of the four cities in the game. Building inside of the cities comes at a premium.
Players can use their land to build and customize their own in-game spaces, including homes, shops, and other structures. Homes are available in three sizes, each of which corresponds to the size of the land that the player has purchased. Homes are modular and can be stacked to create multiple levels, and players can store items inside of their homes if they are large enough.
Player owned land also grants players the opportunity to set up Particle Collectors to begin passively harvesting Particles from the landscape.
In addition to providing players with a sense of progression and accomplishment, the land and building system in Rocket Monsters can also create a sense of community and connection among players.
